With Your Might. You cannot
pay too careful attention to business if
you want to succeed. It is the result
of practicle, every day experience, that
steady attention to matters of detail lies
at tho root of human progress, and that
diligence, above all! is the mother of good
luck. Acouraoy, also, is of much im
portance, and an invarible mark of good
training in a man aceuracv in observa
tion, accuracy in the transaction of af
fairs. What is done in business must
be well done, for it is better to accom
plish a small amount of work than to
halt do ten times as much. Yet in busi
ness affairs it is the manner in which
even tmall matters are transacted that
often decides men for or against you.
With virtue, capasity and good conduot
in other respects, the person who is hab
itually inaccurate canpot be trusted; bis
work has to be gone over again, and he
thus causes endless annoyanoes, vexation
and trouble.
