Grand Exhibition and Lectures.
Rev. II. Weicksel's Grand Sciopticon,
a Panorama of the beautiful and won
derful, will exhibit in Messenger's Hall
three nights, Saturday evening, April
27th, Monday evening, April 29th, and
Tuesday evening, April 30th. The
first exhibition will be scenes on the
Creation of the World Light, Fishes,
Fowls, Beast; the oreation of Man; the
Fall; the first City; Virtue and Vice;
the early Invention; the habits and
customs of men then; the cause ot the
Deluge; the building of the Ark; Noah
entering the ark embracing upwards
of 50 most beautiful views, with re
marks on astronomy and geology. The
second exhibition will be scenes on the
Chinese Empire, being a series of in
teresting views; from original sketches
taken on the spot, and displaying the
scenery, architecture, social habits, exe
cution of the laws, punishments and
costumes. Such as playing shuttlecock
with the feet, itinerant barber, a Chinese
marriage procession, a Madarin paying a
visit of ceremony, the ceremony of
meeting the spring, the Imperial travel
ing palace at Hoo-kew-shan, the Kin
shan or Golden Island, etc., etc. As
the Chinamen become citizens of our
fair land we ought to know something
about them. Therefore come see and
hear. The third exhibition will be
scenes on the Life of Christ, embraoiog
many of the most beautifully colored
paintings ever exhibited, on sqenes in
the Holy Land, miracles, occasions and
incidents in the Life of Christ. Every
