I.VTERMAl Revenue taxes producin? near
, ly 525,000,000 a yeai ceased pa Saturday
last This is in addition to taxes hereto
fore removed, which produced annuity
$17O,O0C,00O. It is ia addition also to
a further Vediidlion of 850,000,000 of taxes
provided for ut the last sessiou of Congress
' aud to be made Ou or before the Cat cf
nest May. And this is hut the beginning.
The interest burden hus been reduced 818
350,000 sinco last year. Expenditures are
decreasing. The month just closed showed
$9,009,498 taked from the ptiblio debt,
making the total decrease in nineteen
mouths of Grant's . administration nearly
one hundred nnd eighty millions of dollar?
This ns the result of economy, efficientcy
and honcety of republican ruld. On the
other hand, wherever the Democratic party
is in power, taxes inorease. In New
York city, alone, the local taxes have grown
over S7,CCO,000 in a single year. The
elections are impressed uy the contrast and
will approve of the reduction of the nation
al taxes by sustaining the Republican party
a the polls.

Now, reader, self-abuse, vcncral disease
badly cured, and sexual excesses, are all ca

Did you ever think that those bold, defi
ant, energetic, perssvenog business-men
are always those whose generative organs
are in perfect health ? You never hear
such men complain of being melencholy,
of nervousness, of palpatatien of the heart.
Ihey are never afraid they cannot succeed
in business ; they don t become sad and dis
couraged ; they are always polite and pleas-
int in company of ladies, and look you and
hem riht in the face none ofyour down
cast looks or any other meanness about
them. 1 do not mean those who keep the
nrgrns inflated by running to excess. These
will not only ruin their constitutions, but
also those they do business with or lor.
How mancy men. from h i lly cured diseases,
from the cli'ectR of self abuse nnd excesses,
have brought about ili.il Hat a of weakness in
