indifferent about supporting them. We
have published the Advocate nearly four
months, and while we have been piven a
fair circulation, very few have felt sufficient
interest in our success, to pay for their pa
per Our expenses are cmi, which must
lie paid every week, aud we think it exceed,
-inuly unjust to embarrass our effurts to
publish u good paper, by neglecting to pay
promptly. Four weeks ago, we eueloscd
in our paper billn to the amount of about
two hundred dollars, and ltd one person

ful aud we trust that we shall have no
farther occasion to call attention to it. If
you do dot think the paper worth the price
we ask lor it, pay up and siop it, and not
longer subject us to the expense of furnish
ing you with reading.

treatment, and while ho is also furnishing
liis patrons with an excellent paper they

in Harrisburg, on Tuesday, the twenty-third
day of February, 18CJ, at ten o'clock, A. M.
A publio Prayer Meeting will be held in the
Court House from 10 to 11 o'clock A. M., pre
ceding the Convention.
Railroad arrangements have been, and will
be made, w'th the principal roads in the Slate,
for free return tickets, or half fare excursion
tickets, to all who attend the Convention.
