TIIR Remiss' RAILROAD COMPANY.—AR im
portant .transbction of the Company was corium
mated this week. They have..exeeuted a mortgage
of seven milliontof dollars, which is to take the
place of the mortgage' under which the Bonds of
:1860 wore issued, and it is for the purpose, of pay
ing those Bonds cod the floating debt oldie Cum-
pony. It is made to Mr. Cullen, the President
and to Misses. Boker and Norris, two of the Di
rectors of the Company. Ii is ot'course, second
to the mortgage covering the headset 1870, but Is
supposed to be ample security for the amount. Is
open for.all creditors holding the present floating
liabilities of the Company, who may desire to fund
