Although the balance of indebtedness of the county
has apparently been Increased since our last report, it
has actually been demeneed 'events ten thousand dol

The appropriation tbr the Alms House Is steadily In
creasing, having been in -1854, 33 per cent., in 1855 31 11 4

levied, and being a yearly increase of about $3OOO. •
At this time, and during the present year, $52,544 of
the bonds of the county will be due. To meet the same
we will be constrained te borrow money, and therefore
request such persons sit will loan to the county to induct
