be a Whig victory—a Pennsylvania victory—but

err, here bein norninsted by the Whigs or the

need men in the Legi•lature, who can properly rep
resent theititeresio of Schuylkill county'. The
cowing session will be one of the mod important
that hes eseembleil for year., in which questions
of great pith and moment, will be brought forward
and diicussed. Our candidates, being gentlemen
of intelligence, well acquainted with the wants of
the -people, and able to discuss any quelling"
brought before the Legislature, will be found fully
prepared to meet any emergency. They can be
depended upon as gentlemen, in every way quali

Tlajrr Joitts W. Holman. of Wayne, our
candidate, for Director of the Peorja s gentleman,_
who swirl receive a large vote, and of course be
elected. Of his qualifications for the office, no one
entertains a doubt. .Thetufrite of Director, is not
of mach pecuniary advantage, and a man to snow
his name to come before the publ.c, is prompted
by more than ordinary motives. He desires to JO
abet he can to alleviate the condition of those
whose health and circumstances compel them to .

Tnostrans A. Granonza, of Tremont, brings up
the rear of the Ticket, and a better man for ouch

Such are the .claims of MO W bin Ticket, hastily_
stated. Was there ever a better Ticket given to
you, votere, for support—one which so happily
combines the necessary qualifications and personal
popularity. Con you withhold your support from
