can be abolished.
Legislative.—ln the House of Representa
tives, on the 30th ult., an Act for the better regu
lation of the streets and alleys in the Borough of
Schuylkill Haven, was passed.
On the same day so Act authorizing the Com
missioners, of Schuylkill County to sell certain
real estate, was passed.
In the Senate, on the 3 let. Mr. Overfichr pro.
vented a petition for the incorporation of a bank
at Minererille, to be celled the Miners' Bank.

report, which, after being read by the Secretary,
