Any boat not licensed ae aforesaid, and running upon
a single level of the works, shall pay for each lock they

TUC Manager's of this Compw, at a meeting tetd
on the ph December tilt., agreeably to the design
referred'in the original prospectus or circular of the
Company, appropriated a Bonus or addition to all poli
cies • for the whole of life, remaining in force,l that
were issued prior to the Ist ofJanuary,, 1842. Those
of them therefore which neve issued on, the'yrar 1835,
will be entitled to 10 per cent upon the sum insured,
making an addition of $lOO on every $lOOO. That is
*llOO, will he paid when the policy becomes a claim
instead of the *lOOO originally, insured. Those policies
that were issued in 1832 will be entitled to 81 per cent,
or 887 50 on every *lOOO. And those. Issued in 1838,
will be sniffled to 21 , per cent, or *75 on every 100,
and in ratable proportions on all said policies issued
prior to Ist or January, 1844. . .
The Bonus will be credited to each polocy on the
books endorsed on presentation Witte Office.
