IT HAS suited the convenience of certain pa ties, to
offer in the market, pipes made in violation of our
patent, and tinned. With a view to obtain the preference,
by pretending that lead pipe is an unwholesorrie con
veyance for good, water.. This stale imposition has
been urged, with extraordinary efforts, of perversion
and dishonesty, in. New York, wittiou* effect, and is
now about to be attempted elsewhere. • I I
Nature soon provides an insoluble and todestt
rooting to lead pipes, (teken in use for convey ini
that is fit to drink,) far better than any artifici,
