engine. the coal, ore, limesione, &c, are drawn up.
The Furnace is 28 feet sgtiare at •the hale and 471
feet high; - The foundation 'under the whole is very
substantial, being 5 feet deep and 42 feet square:
The tunionis.rd feet high With three charging doors,
`cast iroti flames and abates to ,each door. The arches
for the tuyeia are lit feet; the tempt arch 15
feet wide;the hearth S feet high and the bosh fa 12
Wet awns. The interior of the stack Is lined with fire
brick 16 inches long,end the whsle is braced with bats
of iron four feet apartos ith lame. washers and keys.
There aretwo steam
,engines; or 00 borse power each
and, tiro bowing c ylinders; 62 inches' diameter, 10
Boilers' 20 feet long, and 20 itches in diamner. The
-engine hniPie is 6n feet by .56t the boiler house 60 by 45,
and the , cruting house 98 feet tong, 45 feet wide,and
feet high to the square. -Thei matbinery--brof n very
superior *fader, and in first rate fluter. and the whole
establishment one which it to beheried offers facilities
for pig crop surpassed by none to the State. The fur
