and porterage added. Each barrel dilintains four bushels,
and is acknnwledurd by alt those who hare used
particularly for corn, potatoes, mid for Gardens,

the hest and cheapest article ever used. For Gardens
it is invaluable, and also for top-driuming crops. Where
the Poudrette is used the crops invariably ripen at least
ktvo weeks earlier than with the use of any other fer
tilizer. This is particularly the case with nearly all
kinds of.V.getables.. The early vegetable by which
the Philadelphia market is supplied,. are forced by the .
use , of this manure almost exclusively. It has been
used in this County on Farms with great success by
Christopher Loeser. But., of Orwigeburg ; Mr. Benja
min. Pott, and Mr. ThOmes Sillyman. nail in a slumber
of Gardens. The Iderinfaturer sold jail year Upwards
of 3000 barrels, which from the increased' orders re
