Mn. BANNAN:-IVc.have tried Neal's Patent'
Lard Lamp, and find that it glues a much bet

gives quite 115 much light as too candles. It is
entirely free from any unpleasant smell—the
emetic, what little there is, *oils nothing, and it
is a sating of about 50 ter ccas. over the ese of
the best Sperm Oil, ut the present.priees. The
common Lard, as it comes from the Putchenr,

PaNNAN:-1' havi . used Neal's , . Patent
Lard Lamp, ter abbut foar nuentli', and find ,it
superior to any Lamp, I-have ever used. With
Lard it gives a much better light than with nil,
is a very great saving, aml is fter, from all unpins,

common 50 cent oil, mixed with half Lard for
winter urn, Which gives a mush l brighter light
than the best Sperm Oil, aid h i es free from that
unpleasant smell, which renders Lamps disagree.

JOSEPH ALLEN..
We may here rema;k that :if any person be.
.mmes tired of using Lard, or if the price should
approach to near the price of Oil, he has a much
better Oil Lamp than any now in use, unless it
