QAFETV FUSg—The subscriber has just reeei
ved a fresh supply of Safety Fuse, from the Manufac
tory. which he *ill warrant to he of a superior quality;
and for blasting in Rock is perfectly safe, as the needle
is dispe r rsed with in its use. Upwards of :100,000 feet of
this Fuse was used in one year on the New York 'acid
Erie Rail Road, and so firmly convinced were the En
gineers of its entire safety that they prohibited the use
of the needle and substituted the use of the Fuse in
