Moffitt's Life Pills, 'and Nice-
nix Hitters.
/111.1 E perfectly safe, unerring, and successful treat
fluent of almost every species of disease by the use
of MOFFAT'S LIFE MEDICIPIES, is no longer a
matter of doubt, as a reference to the caper fence of
many thousand patients will satisfactorily prove. Dur
ing the present month alone. nearly one hundred cases.
have come to the knowledge of Mr . Moffat, where the
patient has, to all appearance, effected a permaneat
cure by the exclusive and judicious use of the Life Me
dicines—sonic eight or ten of these had been consider
ed beyond all hope by their medical attendrints. Such
happy results are a source of great 'pleasure to Mr. M.
and inspire him with new confidence to recommend . ,,
the dse of his medicines to his fellow-citizens.
The LIFE MEDICINES are a purely VEGETABLE
i
preparafon. They are mild and pleasant in their ope
ration. a dat the same time thorough—acting rapidly
upon th secretions of the system—carrying off all acri
moni s humors , and assimilating with and purifying
the lood. For this reason, in aggravated cases of
Dyypepsia, the Life Medicines will give relief in,a shor
ter space of time than any other prescription. In fever
and-Ague, Inflammatory Rheumatism, Fevers of every
description, Sick Headache, Heart; bairn, Dizziness iTi
the head Pairs in the Chest, Flatulency, impaired ap
petite, and in every disease arising from an imp., fly of
the blood, or a disordered eta& of the stomach, the use
of these Medicines has always - proved to be beyond
doubt, greatly superior to any other mode of treat
ment.
. All that Mr. Moffat asks of his patients is to be parti
cular in taking them strictly according to the directions.
It is not by, a newspaper notice, or by any thing that he
hie, self may say in their favor, that he hopes to gain
credit. It is alone by the results of a fair trial. , Is the
reader an invalid, and dot s he 11 ish to know whether the
Life Medicines will suit his own case? If so . , let him
call or send to Mr. Moffat's agent in this pltice, and pro
cure a copy-of the medical Manual, designed as a Do
mestic Guide to Health, published gratuitously. Ile will
there find enumerated very many extraordinary cases of
cure• and perhaps some exactly similar to his own.

'HMIS Alledicine is particularly recommended at
id this season of the year, as an alterative and a
purifier of the blood. It gives a tone and v i gor to
debilitated constitutions, which invalids are uncon.

It is also recommended in Diseases where the lungs
and breast ate supposed to be affected, and also
where the constitution is broken down by the use of
Mercury or Quinine;
THIS MEDICINE has the singslar fortune a
just tribute to its great merit, of being reccommend

in the United States and Europe; whereas r.ot one

the least support from the Medical Faculty. This
fact offers an argument so plain and conclusive, that

A gentleman belonging to one of the most ancient and
wealthy families of this city, who must be well known
to numerous friends, having since the year 1818 up to
recently. been bent nearly double, and for several
~ ears
confined to his bed, has been restored to good health—
has regained his natural erect position—and has quitted
his carriage, and now walks with ease!! We believe
this is the gentleman's own description as near as pos
sible, and there is exaggeration in it. We will give
inquirers his address, and doubt not his humane feelings
will excuse the liberty; that any one doubling. may
know these facts—though he requests his r ame may not
appear in print. Among other similar instances, Alr.
