Morrill, esq. was called to the Chair, aid James
H. Graeff appointed Secretary. On motion the
-following resolutions were read - and Unanimously
adopted.
Resolved, That the thanks of thekneeting be Mil::
dered to P.. B. porter, Esq. for the, veiy able and
interesting Address delivered this e'veiting on the
subject of establishing a Mechanic's and Aptfrelifido'il
Library, and that he be requested to furnish a copy
•thereof for publication.
Resolved, That a committee of seven persons. in
cluding the gnioent of this meeting, be, appointed,
whose duty it 'shall'he to proeure subscriptions - and
donations, either in Money or Books for the use of a
filechanic'sand Apprentice's Library, to be estab u

discharge my duties justly and impartially. Called
