The vote of the Whigs de creased, and the locos not increased since last fall, shows, that Lacslicesnufm in political affairs on the part of the former, is the true cause of our repeated defeats. We can never conquer, until attendance at the polls is considered an imperative duty. There is a law to prevent persons voting twice; would to heaven there was one to make them vote_once ! It is a subject for the serious consideration of all who neglect their right of suffrage. Every one should be sufficiintly impressed with a just estimate of.the value of his single vote, never to neglect cast ing it for the Most worthy candidate.
