no patent for smeltitg Iron Urn with An
thracite Coal in this country, many suppose that
they are now at liberty to adopt the_ method wt
smelting • lron ore with Anthracite by the use of
a heated air blast; although I gave notice last
year that I had a patent Itir smelting Iron Ore
with Anthracite Coat, both by the use of a cold
atmospheric and a heated air blast, I would now
inform the public again, that on the 14th of Jan
dary, Is3B, I received a letter from thus Coutmis
stoner of Paten.' at Washingtoti, art ling:
