HOPPKKSPATENT PLANE
TI'IIK undersigned is prepared to supply CARPENTERS,

with bis Patented and tamable PLANKS.
All who have tried it, pronounce it a most valuable in
vmtiou, that most soon come into general use. The fol
lowing letters from practical workmen are but two among
many letters the Patentee bus received recommending this
Plaue above all others In use :
Pitts an equ Svaan Gasmrt Faotobt, 1
Pobruary 22, 1856. >
We hereby certify, (bat during the last twelve months
we have used-Hopper's Patent Plana, and do not hesitate
to recommend it to Cabinet-Makers and Carpenters as su
perior io any other Plane in use. We consider it peculiarly
adapted to planing oak, cherry, walnut, and all sorts of
bard wood, and f-*r planiug veneers, It is far superior to
the old m-nls of iterating, braided being a great saving of
time. One man, by using this Plane, will plane more
veneers than Dve men can do by any other plane or method
in use. 11. IL Ur AS A Qo.
To Motixs F. Eaton, Esq.:
Dear .Sir 1 Lave examined Hopper's Patent Bench
Plan*, aud believe it to bo a most eiOellent article fur the
use for which it 1: intended,a* a combination oi plane and
scrat er.
It is particularly adapted to planing veneer*, and U doe*
not requite oue-fonrth the tune or labor of the old method;
and I hare no doubt, when its properties become generally
known, but that it will entirely . upereodo the former te
dious and iaborioas custom.
1 most cheerfully recommend it to all persona engaged In
the Cabinet basiuiws, as from my knowledge of it, there is
nothing as well fitted to give a smooth and beantifu! finish
to to nee re as the Hopper Patent Beach Plane.
