The steamship Golden Age on her upward passage touched
at Aoapuleo on the 6th September; all were well. The

B. Ferguson is among tho victims. Mr. Jackson Is 111 but
not dead, as has been reported. Fifty-four of tho Southern
doctors and nurses have left for their hemes. Miss Catha
rine Rodman, the Matron of the Orphan Asylum, is dead.
At Portsmouth on Saturday there ww« 13 deaths, and on
Suudnv 9; but few new cases have oocurred. Drs. Cole, of
