Pirreouauu ST BAM Oabotit Factobt, |
February Id, iftb&. J
We hereby certify, that during the last twelve months
we have used Hopper’s PaUnt Plane, and do not hesitate
to recommend it to Cabinet-Makers and Oarp-inters as su
perior to any other Plane in use. We consider it peculiarly
adapted to planing oak, cherry, walnut, and all sorts of
hard wood, and for plauiug veneers, it is fax superior to
the old mode of scraping, besides being a great paring of
time. One man, by usiug this Plane, will plane more
veneers than live men can do by any other plaue or method
ID use. H. U- Ktan A Co.
To Mosks P. Eator, Esq.: m . , „ .
Dear Sir ■— I have examined Hopper's Patent Bench
Plau«, and believe It to be a moat excellent article fur the
use for which it is intended, as a combination o t plane and
adapted to planing veneers, and it does
not requi re one-fourth the time or labor of the old method;
and I hare no doubt, when its properties become generally
known, but that it will entirely .uporeede the former te
dious and laborious custom.
I most cheerfully recommend it to all persons engaged in
the Cabinet business, as from my knowledge of it, there is
nothing as well fitted to give a smooth and beautiful finish
to Tentacle as the Uoppcr Patent Bench Plane.

gether in such a manner ei to insure the best results;
Tbe system of composition for medidneshos been found In
Cherry Pectoral and BlUa both, toproduoea mOteufiSdent
remedy lhan bad hitherto been obtained by any process.'
Tbe reason is perfectly obvious. While by the old mode of
composition, every medicine Is burdened with more or less
of acrimonious and injurious Qualities, by this each indi
vidual virtue only that is desired for the curative effect/te;
present. All the inert and obnoxious qualities of each
substance employed.ore left behind* the ourative virtues
only being retained. Hehce ltii self evident that the effecta
should prove as they hive more' purelyTemed(al,
and the Billsa more powerful antidote to disease than any'
other medicine knowuto the world* > .
As it is frequently expedient that m&nv medicines should
be taken under the counsel of an attending Pbysidsa,an&:
as he could not properly judge of a remedy without
log Its composition, 1 have supplied the accurate Ponautie
by which both my Pectoral and Bills, are majle, to the.,
whole body of Practitioners in the Hnitedfitatea and British'.
American Provinces. If, however,'thsreflhould be anyone
who has not received them, they will be forwarded by mail:
to his request
Of all the Patent Medicines that are .offered,' how fow
would be taken If their composition was known! Their-’
life consists in their mystery. I have no mysteries. 7
The composition of my preparations is laid open to all
men, and all who are competent to judgeun the subject
freely acknowledge their convictions of their ■lutrilfflifl ••
merits. The Cherry Pectoral was by Bdenilfio
men to be a wonderful medicine before iteaffectswere
known. Many eminent Physicians have declared the’same
thing of my Pills, and even more;confidently,-and are'
willing to certify that their anticipations were mpre.thau .
realised by their effects upon trial.
They operate by their powerful influence on the internal
viscera to purify the blood and stimulate It Into healthy
action—remove the obstructions of the stomach, bowels,'
liver, and other organa of the body, restoring their Ixregb*
lar action to health, and by correcting, wherever they ex*; -
tstisoCh derangements as are the first origin of disease..
