and from Sandusky, MansQeid and Mt. Vernon, and with
Trains on the Steubenville and Indiana Railroad; at
Wheeling with Express Train on the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad for Baltimore, Washington, Phlladelphiuand East

The 3*6 P. H. Train will connect at Columbus with the
•eeond Train from Cincinnati; at Newark with Sandusky.

Night Train on Baltimore and Ohio' Railroad. Passengers
leaving Louisville and points below Cincinnati, and taking
the 9 A. M Train on Littlo Miami Railroad, will connect
with this Traio at Columbus. Passengers leaving Indiana
polis and Richmond by men lug Train on Indiana Central
Kailro&d will also connect with .this Train at Columbus,
a nd reach Wheeling at 9:16 P. M., and leave by 10:30 P. M.
Train on Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, arriving in Balti
more at 6 P. M., next day.

at Bel lair at 6:15 A. M.: connecting with the Accommoda

iN FORMATION has boon made to the Board of Health
that cases of ch-iera occurring outride of the city have
neen brought within its Umite for relief. No doubt the
friends of the rick are prompted by motives of humanity,
yetit is proper they should he informed that they subject
themselves to a severer penalty by so doing. -
The Legislature passed laws regulating this matter, in
eases where tba disease to malignant or contagious, in order
that tho densely populated may be protected from ady
unnecessary tecourge, which, when it baa gained a footing,
«?arcdy. rests.so long aa there remains a subject for its re
morseless attach. •••■
The Board of Health are dotermiued to enforce the law.
If patients seised with cholera, or any malignant or conta
gious disease, ontrida-the city, must be removed to any of
the Hospitals, persons conveying them thither must have a
permit from the Board of Health.
The attention of all persons Interested la called to the
allowing sections of an eat approved April 8,1 fes2:
Pro. 6..Tbai any master, commander, or other person
having charge of-any' vessel or steamboat, violating any of
tbo rales ot regUihtlDna-. prescribed by the said Board of
:HeaUh, under tho provisions of this act, shall, npon convic*
tion-thexpof, by indictment or prosecution in any coart
having jurisdiction, pay a fine not exceeding Sve hundred
dollars, to be recovered and paid into the treasury of skid
Board, of Health. .. .
Sic. 7 .That vheneyer the Board.of Health shall receive
Information that any malignant or contagious disease
(measles eieepled) prevails within any port or place within
tho united Slates, they Bhall make diligent Inquiry concern
ing the same; and If It shall appear that the disease prevails
as aforwhld, all communication with ouch Infected port or
place snail be subject to such ocntrol ondrozulationa as ihe
Board of Health may from time to time direct, and publish
to one or more newspapers published in the dt, of Pitts
burgh; and thereupon every person or persona, and all
goods, wares-and merchandise, bedding and clothing from
such infected port or place, and having entered and been
brought mto the city of Pittsburgh contrary to such regu
lations, shell be subject to the same penalties as Is provided
for In the preceding section.
The penalties of tho whole act will bo strictly enforced.
