A 13neur REamsniat.—ln 1820 there was a bill

HOPPER'S PATENT PLANE
flini; undersigned is prepared to supply CARPENTERS,
1. CABINET-MAKERS, and Workers in Wood generally,
with his Patented and valuable PLANES.
Ail who have tried It, pronounce it a moot valuable In
vention, that mutt soon come into goner el use. The fol
lowing letters from practical workmen are but two among
many letters the Patentee has reecived recommending thus
Plane above all allegro In use:
PrrirSDIIROII STORM CAIIINET FACTOUN
February 21 , 1866.
We hereby certify, that daring the last twelve months
we have used Hopper's Patent Plane, and do not hesitate
to recommend It to Cabinet-Makers and Carpsnters no su
perior many other Plane in us•. We consider it peculiarly
adopted to planing oak, cherry, walnut, and all sorts of
hard wood, and for planing veneers, it is far superior to
the old mode of scraping, besides being a great saving of
time. One man, by using this Plane, will plane more
veneers than five men can do by any other plane or method
in use. H. IL RT&N A Co.
To 111081:8 F. 241011,
Dear Sir I bare examined Hopper's Patent Bench
Plane, and believe it to be a most excellent article for the
use for which it is intended, as a combination of plane and
scraper.
It is particularly adapted to planing veaeers, and it does
not requite one•fourth the time or labor of the old method;
and I have no doubt, when its properties become generally
known, but that it will entirely . upursede the former te
dious and laborious custom.
I moat cheerfully reelmmeni it to all persons engaged In
the Cabinet business, as from my knowledge of it, there is
nothing no well fitted to give a smooth and beautiful finish
to veneers as the limier Patent Bench Plane.

Colds, Feverish symptoms, and Bilious derangements.
They all tend to become or produce the deepteated anti
formidable Motel:opera which load the beartes all over the
land., Hence a reliable family phydo is of the first im
portance to the.public health, and this Pill has been per
fected with consummate skill, to meet - that demand. An
extensive trial of its virtues by Physielani, Prloßlgofoo and
Patients, has shown results surpassing -anything hitherto
known of any medicine. Cures hive been effected beyond
belief, were they not enhatantial eat by persona of such ex
alted positions and ammeter as to forbid the suspicion of
untruth.
Among the eminent gentlemen who have testified In

Did space permit, we could 'give many hundred certifi
cates from all parts where the Pillsbave been used, but trtri-'
deuce even reoreemivi neing thin the experience of eminent
public. men, is found In their effects upon trial.. ,
These Pills, the result of long investigation and study,
are offered to the public as the beet anti moot complete
which the present state of medical science earl afford.
They are compounded, not of the drugs theroselvve, but of
the medicinal virtues only of Vegetable Remedies extracted
by Chemical process in a -state of purity, and combined to
gether in such a' manner as to -insure-the beet results.
The system of composition for medicines ha; heen_latrnd in
Cherry Pectoral and Pills loth, to produce a more efficient
remedy, than had hitherto bean obtained .tsroMY Process-
The reason is perfectly obvious. While try the old, mode of
composition, every medicine is burdened with more or less
of acrimonious and injurious an:ditto, by this each indi
vidual virtue only that is desired.fer the caratire effect Is
present. All the Inert and. obnoxious qualities. of each
substance -*outplayed are left behind, the"curative 'virtues
only being retained. Hence it is fell evident that the effects
should prove as they have proved, more, purely remedial,
and the Pills a more powerful antidote to disease than any
other medicine known to the world.''
As it in frequently expedient that many medicines should
be taken under the counsel of an attending.Phyatelan, and
as hs could not properly judge of a remedy without know-
Ing ite composition; I have supplied the accurate Formuleo
by wHich both my Pectoral and Tilly are reads; to the
wholeloody of Practitioners in the United States and British
American Provinces. If, however, there s,hould be anyone
who has not:received them, they will be forwarded by mall
to his request. - - - ' - •
Of all the Patent. Medicinee that are offered, bow. few
would be taken it their composition was known! Their
life consists in their.myetery. I have no mzrateriea.
The composition of my preparations is laid open to all
men, and alt who are competent to 'judge on the subject
freely acknowledge their convictions of their. intrinsic
merits. The Cherry Pectoral was pronounced by scientific
men to be a wonderful medicine before its effects were
known. Many eminent Phtsiciarta have deflated the same
thing of my Pills, and even mere confidently, and are
willing to certify that their anticipations were more than
realized by their effects upon trial-
They operate by their polverhol Miler:tee on the internal
viscera to purify the blood and stimulate it inter healthy
action—remove the obstructions of the stomach, bowels,
lleer, and other organs of the body, restoring their 'emu
ler action to health, and - by correcting, wherever they ex
ist, such derangemente as are the first origin of disease.
