ing prepared, the Safe was placed insido tlieroof with Books,
papers and some money;; whet the door of the Safe was <*!<*
sed and the fire kindled at a quarter -pjmt 2 o’clock and in a
short time the Safe was tod-hot, and continued till half past
6 o’clock, being about four and a half hours, when the com
mittee expressed their satisfaction that tbo tlmo occupied
