In Catoctin, adjoining district, there aro but two stases; lasi only ono slave owner. In Jackson diatriot, which was formerly embraced within the limits of Catoctin and Middletown districts, and which Ues betireen said two districts, there are but thirteen 'dates, and seven slave holders. In those three districts, which contain one-ninth of the entire population of the county, we have but fifteen slaves and eight slave holders.
