paper on the tobacco trader the statistics of which sro exceed*
ngly interesting to American merchants, particularly in
showing the oomparativo production of each State—some Id*
creasing and others foiling off—and further showing the fact
.that the anuoal value, at this period, is no greater than that
of twcuty, thirty or forty yean since. It would seem from
this summary that the lowest (averago annual) prices pb*
