MANCHESTER MINERAL PAINT

' / Nsw Yost, Oeeemlier 15th, JSSI.
I have analysed a sample of MaNCIIBSYIIIi MIN

lain the following:
Silica.
Alumina, •
Pet Oxide ol Iron, ■
. Lime, . : .
■ Mayncsia, -■ .■
Oxide «f Manganese,
Walcr end Loss, -

The Powdered Sample, contained til the box* which I

land to differ from any average of the lumps powdered,
and mixed together. This last yields as follow*:
' For Oxide of Iron* . - - 53^50
Silica and Altunina, - '■■■'• 18, 00 •

Magnesia, - - . - ,lfl *
Water and Loss, • - • 7,tjc

.ims difference I presume arises from the mineral not
heing uniform, some portipns containing more Iron than
others. .. The analysis shows the article to be well suit*
