Inside thereof, with books, papers sad some money; when
tire door.of the Safe, was closed and the hre kindled at &
quarter past 2 o'clock, andm a short time the Safe was
red hoi, andcommued till half past 0 o’clock, being about
four and a half hours; when the committee expressed
their oausfacuonttm ibeutne occupied with such treut
was sttlucienl. The furnace was then pulled down,Safe
cooled, and. door opened—the. books, papers and money
safe. The heal was no great as to melt oH ihe brass
mountings. We therefore take pleasure in recommend
