However ninth it is to be regretted, it appears
from our nature to be unavoidable: •
It is a matter of general"notoriety that; a few

parties were highly respected and wealthy, was
adjudicated by one of our Courts, and the child

father during a separation of a year or two, or

justness of this, we will not now speak—but, as
a general rule, if the mother has the means, and
is otherwise qualified .to rear and educate her
children, it is nothing but. natural and right that ,
she should have the possession of -them. Who.
has a better right.,4llan she that bore them!
In the case above alluded to; the formal . res

spirited looking boy, and abed bitter tears at
his brother and sister being separatedfrom him.
Scarcely had the sound of the •carriage as it

How we all admire a clear, beautiful, white skin, and
a rosy colored cheek. How often do we see persona,
not possessing this "desideratum so devoutly to be
wished," resorting to cosmeties t iotions, washes, pulls
and coloring materials, to restore to them a semblance
of-what disease has deprived them o r, and thatmo,with
great injury to the skin. Sub's SarsapanThs is the best
cosmetic 'known. It beautifies the skin, by receiving
every panicle of morbid and diseased matter from the
blood, making it pure healthy and vigorous, giving so.
tivity to every minute vessel, and changing Me yellow
and dark countenance to the bloom and freshness of
youth. Ladies , abandon the use of paints and mizinres,
and use Bull's Sarsaparilla, the Only accusal remedy.
