Naomi Conticstion. - --The Journey men Printers held a Nationid Convention in New York in December, 1850, at . which many good suggestions and wiseprovialoas were made for the benefit of the ("raft throughout the:country. It was 'a grand idea—the National Convention-- and, if properly carried out, as it unquestionably should be, its advantages to the trade will be in calculable. Its nest sitting will take place in Baltimore on the 12th of September. Owing to the short no tice previous to its sitting before, but few States we re represented; but on this occasion we hope to see a full complement from all the States, as the-proJect has met the warmest favor in all parts of the Union. • As the time is near at hand when it will de volve upon the Printers here and elsewhere to make choice of suitable representatives, it would be well for. all in the slightest degree interested to reflect on the matter seriously—its advanta ges and disadvantages; in view of which' the Typographical Association here procured one hundred copies of the Proceedings of, the Con vention held in New York, to aid the reflections of all such—a copy-of which may be 'procured from Mr. George Brisbin, the Corresponding . Secretary. Every Typo should give them a careful and attentive perusal, ,from which - he will gather much valuable information relative to his business and to himself. - • Mir At a meeting of the Stockholders in the Atlantic and Ohio O'Rielly Telegraph Company,. • held yesterday at the Telegraph Office, the fol lowing gentlemen were elected Directors for the ensuing year: . . Pittsburgh—J. K. Moorhead, Joshha Thomas Bakeviell, Charles Avery. • , Phitadelphio--i3ideon S. Westcott, Allen Rob binett, A. B. Cummings, Alex, Osborne, Aler. C. (Signed,) E. W.SEHON. E STEVENSON. How we all admire a clear, beautiful, white akin, and a rosy colored cheek: How often do we see persons, not possessing this . " desideratum so- devoutly to be wished," resorting to COlMellea, lotions, gashes, pejo.% and coloring materials, to restore to them a semblance of what disease has deprived them of, and that too, with great injury to the skin. Suit's Sarsaparilla is the best cosmetic known. it beautifies the skin, by :enlacing every particle of morbid and diseased matter from the blood, making it pure healthy and vigorous, giving ac tivity to every minute vessel, and changing the yellow and dark countenance to the bloom and freshness'af youth. Ladies, abandon the use of paints and mixtures, and use Bull's Sarsaparilla, the only 'effectual remedy. "A word to the WiSO Is sufficient i" and a hint is enough for the Ladles. . .
