subficribers.take this.meihofi to inform .property
l .holders, hoose-buUderti,an(l all others interested,
that they still dontinue the business of Tin Roofing, in
all its branches. Their skill and experience in thispart
of the business, has hitherto enabled them to give entire
satisfaction: And .they hope, thsit by conunning the
same policy Of using the best materials, and employing
skilifnl workmen, to keep up this favorable impression.
If The question of Tin Roofing was new, or just brought
before the notice of this community for the first time,
we. would consider that the importance of the Subject,
would justify ns in extending out views onus superior j
advantages. This, however, is not the case. We shall
therefore, confine ourselves to a few remarks. .On the
6th day of Juhe. l&14, (nearly seven years ago,) we hn
ished our first job of Tin Roofidg in this place. From ;
that np io the present tithe,-we have covered with tin
the roofs of the finest:-and most cosily.buildingsthat
have been erected in this:county. Wehave given our
views on a previous occaiuonon the superior advantage ,
ol Tin over iron, as a - covering for houses. Ana time,
the great tester of all things, has but tod jclewly/proven
the correctness of oar opinion'. • ‘ ' - . '
Again, if wepiace Tinin juxia*pdsnion } with Slate as
a covering for houses, we think that tin will bear a.favo
'table' comparison, with some decided advantages.—
These advantages are, that when tin is used thereof can
be made much natter—thereby saving materials, in the
; length of rafters, brick in the-gaWe ; the
! house easy of access in case of a fire* and showing a
better finish and appearance.- Also, when un ;is used
the gutters are worked in, thereby saving the extra and
heavy expense for copper gutters, copper flashings, Ac.,
—things indispensible on slate roofs. If farther reasons,
were deemed necessary,-we could offer the experience
of our eastern cities in proof what has been advanced*
as It is a well known fact that New. York and othefeast
ern citiesvery generally prefer even, tin for ‘heir most
costly and splendid buildings, notwitfistandingthey have
a ftmsnpply or slate attheir doors. With these remarks
we wiilleave the subject with those interested, and will
take pleasure in giving further information when called

... J. D. Park—Dear Sir;] I take the liberty of advising
you of the benefit that I have derived fromtha use ou .
Dr. Wistaria Balsam of Wild. Cherry. I was prostrated,
by that terrible scourge, Consumption,in May last. The
attack was truly horrifying to me, for five of iny family,
(my brothersand sisters,) had died of Consumption. I
was afflicted with nearly all of the worst features of the
disease: 1 had a distressing cough and expectorated a
great deal of blood, hectic fever, severe pains In the side
and chest, cold chills, Alternating; with flushes, of heat
and copious night sweats
I was underthc care of a skilled physician from the
time I was taken sick until about six weeks since, being
then about helpless, and my friends considering ray case
hopeless, or at least beyond the reach ofoiir physician’s
skill, advised the use of Wistaria Balsam Cher
