witness an honest and fair lest of one ot their pbcßilix
Safes. The fumuoe being prepared, tue bate w-i* placed

the door oi the Safe was closed and the fire kindled at r.
quarter past 2 o’clock, and in a short time the Sate was.
red kot, and continued till half paste o’clock, being about
four and a ludf hours, when the committee expressed
