Cheesy Bass and the geniaiue Iceland Moss (the latter
imported expressly for this purpose,) ‘the rare medical

discovered for CONSUMPTION OF THE LUNGS.

• J. D. Bit: I take the liberty of advising
you of the bencfirthdt I have derived from the use of
Dh Wistar’s Balsam of Wild Cherry. T was prostrated :
by that terrible scourge, Consutnptionjia Rlay last: The 1
attack was truly horrifying to me, for five of my family
{my brothers and sisters,) had died of Consumption', I
was afflicted with nearly allof the worst.features of the
disease:. I had a.distressing cough and expectorated a
great deal of blood, hectic fever; severe pains in the side
and chest, cold chills, with fioshes of heat’
and copious night sweats. _ •
I was under the care of a skilled physician , from the
time i was taken sick until about six weeks since, being
then about helpless, and my friend jeonsidering my case
hopeless, or at least beyond the reach of our pnysician’s
skill, advised the use of Wistar’s Balsam of \Vjld-Cher

: I have taken four bottles of the raedicine, and now
consider myself perfectly well. I ntake this statement
lOi induce others that are afflicted as I have been, to
m»ke trial of Wising Balsam of-Wild Cherry, which
remedy has, under the blessing of Providence, restored
my health. : JEREMIAH ISGRIGG.

ry of ray afflictions, and the benefits; derived from the
use of “Dr. Wistar’s BaKam oi Wild Cherry ;”/ In July,
1844,1 was attacked wiih.a fever of a typhotd character,
which left me in a very debilitated stute,-.when in the
following winter I was. taken with a aqverecold, .which
reduced me to such on extent as to give me the appear
ence of a confirmed, consumptive. I labored under a
severe coagb. expectOTated a grealdeal, and was trou
bled wuh cold feet and night sweats.' Xalsd (frequently
raised blood from my longs. I continued in this stale,
gradually sinking under thedisease, nntii January, 1847,
until I was ogain attacked with fever.: My extremities,
especially my feet, were'constantly cold, and almost
losuheir reeling. Under these circumstances it may be
’truly said that I was a living skeleton. I finally deter
mined to quit taking medicine prescribed by physicians
and try Dr. Wistar’s Balsam of Wild Cherry, and from
thd first'weekthatl commenced taking it I can date a
grddnal recovery. I continued its usestxmonths, at the
end Of which ume I was cured, and have enjoyed good
health ever since, and cheerfully recommend the BaV
