A CURE AND CERTIFICATE AT HOIII.—READ
wrier D 3 sew or THE PETRCHEUM.—I hereby certify,
that, about two weeks ago I was mixed with a vie
lent attack of yourrtrio and PURRING Cholera filer
bus, with very distressing pains in the stomach and
bowels, which was completely relieved by two tee
spoonfull dotes of the Petroleum, taken in a little
water. After having taken the first, I slept soundly
and comfortably for three hours.

I am Captain or the Areadna, and was a witness

CINCCEIRATI, March 12, 1844.
This is to certify, that I have been afflicted with
the King's Evil for fourteen years, is which time I
had tried the skill of four of the beat physicians in
Pittsburgh, Pa. It got so had, and so much inflam
ed, that I was not able to bend my arm; there were
three lamps about the size of a hen's egg. As soon
as I commenced the use of the American Oil, of
which I took a teaspoonful every night and morning,
I also apply it externally by bathing the part affect..
ed. In about two weeks, the lumps were nearly all
gone, the two small ones entirely disappeared, and
the large ones soon after.
I also applied the Oil to a child, whose hand got
severely burnt by falling in the fire; the oil relieved
it instantly; the child did not even cry after the
burnt part was dressed. I cordially recommend it
to all who may be thus afflicted.

p‘easnre in adding my testimony in favor of the excellent
preparation called Or. Parivt's Cltinez . ellair Cream; for,
about two years ago my bait...WWl ve r y dry, bristly, and
disposed to come out; but having precured a beide of the
Cream, and used it according to theprescriptiOn, it Is now
elastic, so ft , and firm to th e head. Many balsams and
oils were applied, each leaving my bolt In a.vrarse state
thanbefore. This Cream, however, hes met my expec

As as article for the toilet, my wife gives It preference
over all others, being delicately perfumed and not die
posed to rancidity. The ladies, especiallY, will find the
Chinese Cream to be a desideratum in `their preparations
for the toilet. Respectfully, &e
