Throat cured hy. the use of the medicine of nature,
AMERICAN OIL.
This is to certify, that I have been afflicted lot
several Months with Inflammatory Rheumatism in
„my ahoulders and arms; also an ulcerated sore tbroat
which was very painful and severe. I was also
much troubled with a dry hacking cough, which my
physician told' xne would terminate in consumption.
About three weeks ago I heard of the American Oil
and commenced the use of it by taking one teaspoon
ful night and morning, and applying it lightly exter
nally, to the parts affected with Rheumatic pains
and also applied it to my throat. I found relief in
two or three days after using the oil, and now- feel
a entirely,
.restored .to health. I also applied it to a
child who was severely burnt and it afforded imme
diate relief.

It is rightly termed ALL-HEALING, for there is scarce

I have used it for the last sixteen years for all diseases

IHINESSE HAI ' CREAM—A -matchless article tor
V growth, beauty, and restoration of the Hair. This
Cream, when once known, will supercede all other am.
cles of the kind now in use. Where the hair is dead,
harsh, thin, unhealthy, nor turning gTey, a few applica
tions will make the hair s oft , and dark, and give it a beau.
tiful ; lively appearance; and will also make it maintain
its liveliness and healthy color, twice as long as all the
preparations that are generally used. Where the hair is
thin, or has fallen off, It may be restored by using the
Cream. Every lady and gentleman who is in the habit of
using oils on their hair should at once purchase a bottle of
the Chinese Hair Cream, as it is socomposed that it will
not injure the hair like the other preparations, but will
beautify it, and give perfect satisfaction in every in
stance.
For testimony to its very superior qualities, see the fol
lowing letter from the Rev. Mr. Caldwell to Mt-errs.

Messes. Hicaneasnorr & STRETCH : Garrnestert—l take
p.easure in adding my testimony in favor of the excellent
preparation called Dr. Parish's Chinese Hair Cream; for,
*qui two years ago my hair was very dry, bristly, and
tfintosed to come out; but having procured a bottle of the
Cream, and used it according to the prescription, it is now
elastic, soft, and firm to the head. Many balsams and
oils were applied, each leaving my hair in a worse state
than before. This Cream, however, has met my expec
tations. .
As an article for the toilet, my wife gives it preference
over all others,. being delicately pertained and not dis
posed to ranciity. The ladies, especially, will find the
Chinese Cream to be a desideratum ut their preparations
for the toilet. Respectfully, Re.,

Mr. T. /L Ribbert—Dear Sir In reply to yourrequest
to have my opinion .relative to the quality of pour Wri
ting Fluid, I may state I have used it inlay Institute
of Accountants tornearly-a year; whereinsentalobut
the best of Inks. It becomes a perfect black soon after
being written with, and is suitable for-any kind of open,
but more particularly the metallio, pen, whick does not
clog with it as with common ink. It writes welt upon
any kind of paper, and on account of its fluid' property .
writes better on parchment than any of the common
inks. I perceive what you have made recentlyit dark
er in color when first written with- - This is decided
improvement, particularly for' book-kagiers, who have
frequently tq write with candle light.' Your Red Ink is
decidedly tlit best of that kind of domestic manufacture
that I have tried;-it will be found - on trial. in every res
pect equal to Arnold's best English manufacture: !Jour
Machine Copy Ink leaves a good impression and will b e .
found worthy of a trial ; but I Cannot Myself speak so
confidently of its properties as the others, not having had
the same experience in the use of it. • •
