The river began to swell again on Saturday and
business commenced again with increased vigor.—
We never knew merchants to be so busy packing
and shipping.
FLOUR..There was no change since Friday; we
beard of some sales at 84 25. The market is very
dull and uncertain. There is considerable flour in
store, the owners expecting an advance.
BACON..The market tends downward.atill, but
no change since Friday's report.
GROCERIES.. No change in .Sugar or Molasses,
th,
_lough both are held firm. There appears to be an
advance in Coffee. We heard of one sale at 10c;
but the regular price remained during the day at 9c.
The impression is that 10c will be the rate this

p.easure in adding my testimony in favor of the excellent
preparation called Dr. Parish's Chinas Hair Creasat for,
about two years ago my hair was very dry, bristly, and
disposed to come out; but having procured a bottle of the
Cream, and used it according to the prescription 'it is now
elastic, soft, and firm to the head. Many balsams and
oils were applied, each leaving my hair in a worse state
than before. This ,Cream, however, has met my expect;
rations.
As an article for the toilet, my wife gives it preferenCe
over all others, being delicately pertumedand not dis
