Business continues dull in all its various depart
ments. The, river is becoming too low for naviga
tion, except Tor the smaller class of steamers.
FLOUR—Prices have again advanced and sales
were made yesterday from wagon and flour stores
by the dray load at $4 75, by the single bbl. $5 00.
The exceeding low water prevents imports by the
river.
GRAIN—We have no transactions to note wor
thy of notice. Oats have advanced, dealers yester
day demand 38040 per bus. We could learn of no
transactions at those hares. Wheat is nominal.—
Corn has slightly advanced.
GROCERIES..Sugar is in fair demand at 4}aht.
Coffee Vint. Molasses 260/28.
WHISKEY has advanced to 20c with an upward
tendency.
