of the government and executive offices. In addition to
this important advantage, the senior partner, Arr. Ash,
has occupied, for several years, the position of principal
Clerk in the State Auditar's office, and having had charge
of the books and State land department in said office, has
obtained a thorough knowledge on all subjects connect
ed with this :agency:am:l*e Cr-, therefore, enabled at all
times to give correct and prompt information, much in
advance of any other agency in the State. Oro location
is also important to nornresidents -fishing to pay taxes,
as our acquaintance with the cone -torn or the revenue is
such that we can obtain the tax receipts through the
mail, and the money paid directly into the State treasu
ry, thereby avoiding therisk of remitting, funds by mail.
We also beg leave to inform persons wishing to pur
chase State lands, that gar arrangements are such, that
we can, at all times, furnish State bonds scrip, or indebt
edness in any amount, and at less rates than any other
office in the State.
In conclusion we take(l pride in referring to the char
acter and standing of thegentlemen who have been k ind
enough to permit us to usri their munguas references, and
