head of beeves disposed of at prices ranging from $7
to 7,87 per head. The number remaining unsold

Flour.. The market is inactive, the Eastern de
mand having somewhat fallen of Prices are un
changed.
Wheat is held firmly.
Corn.. Tne demand for shipment has been large,
and prices are improving.
Money Market.. Our commercial and money re
lations are easy and tranquil. •

Money Market.. The supply of Bills of foreign
Exchange as ample, and the demand. so far has been
moderate. Government Securities and State Stock
were firm to-day, with moderate transactions. Sales
of Pennsylvania fives at S9laB9H sales of Treasury
Notes at 91,16; sales of U. S. sixes MS at $1,161.
Cotton.. The market is unsettled : and correct
quotations cannot be given.
Flour.. We note sales of Common Western Canal

five,) and by every one who has given it a trial, been
pronounced the best remedy they have ever used for ex
terminating Rats, Mice, Bed-Bugs, Roaches, &e.
The articles composing this composition are in them
selves very innocent, and contain not a particle of poi
son; but when combined, creates a gas which explodes
the stomach, and consequently destroys life in a few
hours—as soon as it has affected the stomach. the articles
become neutralized, and will affect nothing thereafter;

arc icy cold ; the tongue is sometimes clean, but general

eral and painful symptoms. The skin is shriveled anu el,
a purple hue ; the pulse becomes weak and frequent, and
in the collapse stage entirely lostat the wrist ; the breath-.
ing labored and hurried. These symptoms usually suc
ceed each other in the order stated.
