"Dear Sir—The wonderful effects 'ofJones' Coral Heir
Restorative has been decisively demonstrated in the ea
ses of several respectable citizens of the town, who, on
account of your selling three shilling trial bottles, try it
without fear. One iustauce, which hat attracted partic

or no hair for twenty years; he had tried nitmeroas pre
parations in vain, and ultimately bad his head shared and
wore R wig. At my recommendation. he tried the Re
storative, and alter using it, according to the direction,
fora short time, the young hair appeared, and he has now
as fine'a head of hair as any person in Itallimore.
" Yours, die. JOHN KILVINOTON."
It rause* eyebrows to grow, prevents the hair from
turning grey, and the first application causes it to curl
beautifully, frees it from scurf and stops it from falling

FORCING AND SUCTION PUMA. FIRE ENGINE,
• .Stearn Engine,' V , lnitator, anit nolo Muer.
THlSremarkable Machine was invented. by, Erten&
HAzs,.of New York, and bids fair to supersede, ill
all its above applicutious, the machines' now an use. It
has been visited by thousands, and tried in many of its
applications, and its success has outstripped everything
In the history of useful inventions. The compact loan of
the machine, its simplicity of constpiction and new an.
plication of established principles, render Iran 'Object of
admiration to ull who see it. . ' • . • :
As a common Pump, for Me we qffamilies,.its portabil
ity and the facility with which it can be con v erted into a
Fire Engine are among its advantages. It Is - equally
useful for al l ' .
purposes to which Pumps can be applied on
steamboats or cesse/s, to supply boilers,'wtuhing of decks,
pumping the bolds, Isc., tkc , &c. - ,
. For Mines and Hydraulic Work . , of all kinds, it re
quires less power to do the same amount of work, audit
le3s !table to get out of repair than any, pump ever be
fore in veuMd. It throws a continuous stream of water,
without the use:of an air chamber or nay compliCated
double acting apparatus. • • .
Aa a Fire .Engine, not one htactile number of merrare
required as upon the machines now in use, and they can
work a much longer time without fatigue,.owing to the
manner of the application of the power--ether by crank
or capstan. '
As a Rotary Steam Engine, this machine has supplied
that great desideratum umong scientific men, viz : Chican
ing a. constam rotary action, which can MS satisfactorily
applied to practical purposes.
As a Ventilatorfor Mines, Wells and Vessels, era Mole('
for Furnaces, it is easily and efficienly applied. •
As a Water Mee; working either by departing or en
eying water, it is something entirely new and eminently
useful. It can be used as to ebviignachof the expense
it nlaying foundations of mills, cl. gof.Water courses
One of the Machines can be earl and some of its ap
plications tested, by calling at " Valor H.ax.c,^ corner of
Fifth and Smith fi eld streets, entrance. on Fifth st.
Rights for individuals, Counties, ?ea., sub s c ribes the Sta
