CORNMEAL—SaIes are made regularly froni
store at 40c. for best quality; some sales of country
ground at 37c. We consider 40c. the fairest quota
tion. Sales . of Kiln Dried at $2,00.
FEED—The market is fully supplied. Canal
boats from Ohio are arriving with full loads of Bran,
which is sold on wharf at B.i9c.
FISH—The receipts continue-fair, and brisk sales
at our quotations of last week. Sales of Herring at
$606,50;' Shad at $10810,50; No. 3 Mackerel at
$6,00; Salmon at $18,60. Codfish
FLOUR-The market has improved considerably,
but we can hardly tell why. The demand in the
east- has not increased, and through prices at first
advanced slightly, a decline has followed. We
(Incite sales on the wharf at $3,60,93,70.
FRUIT—Sales of Dried Peaches at $1,25,133;
Dried Apples at 56858 c. Oranges are very scarce;
worth :$4(d4,50; Lemma - are sold at 0303,50. Pea
Nuts are very dull; the marked is glutted; sales in a
small way at 8681,00.' Sales of Pecans at Gas;
Sales of Raisins at $1,7531,65; by single box SIX
82,00. Sales ,of Pine Apples at $303,60 s? , doz.
Green Apples are scarce at $101,50 according - to
quality.
