esti an honest and fair tesi of one of. diets Phosna
Safes. The furnace being prepared, tae Safe %misplaced
I inside thereisf, With boOks, papers and some money; when
the door of the Safe.was closed and the fi re:kindled at
quarter past 2 o'clock, and in a short time the Safe was
"dim!, and continued till halfpast 6 o'clock; being about
four and a half hours, when :the committee expressed
their satisfaction tharthe time Oceupied with such beat
caps snfficient. The furnace was then polled down, Safe
cooled,and door opened—the books, papers and money
safe. The heat was so great as to melt oft' th e brass
mountings. We therefor e take pleasure in recommend
ing them Safes to the public, as being, in our judgment,
entirely fireproof.
