Land and General Agency Older,
AT Tilt CAPITAL Olf iLLIIIIOIII, OTT OW SPRINGFIELD.
70 Non-resident If of Illinois Lands—Holders of
indebtedness, and all persons dcrir- •
ouspureliatiag . State Lands with
senp or lands.
MAE undersigned would nupectliallyinform the public
„1. that they have established in this city—the capital of
the State of Illinois—a LAND and GENERAL AGEN-
C YOFFICE, for the transaction of all bunt' kiss apper
taiping thereto, vrithin the limits of the State.
All transactions relative to the purchase and sale of
lands, examining lands cad reporting their location;ad
vantages and value, paying taxes, redeeming-land sold
for taxes, investigating titles, &C., buying and eilling all
descriptions of State indebtedness; this and every other
description of business attached to a General
- Laud
Agency, on the most extended scale, will' be promptly
a d faithfully attended to.
In regard to location, we have many advantages over
all other agencies in the State, being at the Capital, near
the centre of the State, iind at the very fountain head of
all information in relation to matters connected with
lands.taxes, and State inientedness, through the medium
of the government arid executive offices. In addition to
this important advantage the senior
years,partner, Mr. AM,
has occupied, for several the position of principal
Clerk in the State Auditor s office, and having had charge
of the booki and State land department in said office, hiss
obtained a thorough knowledge on all sabjeeta connect
ed with this agency; and we are, therefore, enabled at all
times to give correct and prompt information, mush in
advance of any other agency in the State. Oar location
is also important to - non- rendenta wishing to pay taxes,
as our acquaintance with the collectors of the revenue is
such that we can obtain the tax - receipts. thrones the
mail, and the money paid directly into the State therebytreasu
ry
avoiding the risk of remitting Quids by mail.
also beg leave to inform perianth:wishing .10 put
chase State lauds, that our arrangemenu ate such, that
we can, at all times, furnish State bonds, scrip, or indebt
edness to ang amount, and at less rates than any other
Invoncluicaf, we take pride in referring to the char
acter and standingof the gentlemen who have been kind
enough to permit lit tone their' names as references, and
with a sincere desire to please, , backed by fidelityitnillar
try and promptitude in ail our business transactions, to
merit the confidence of all who may entrust their busi
ness to our hinds. ASH & DILLER
