They are now offered for sale at the Warehouse of

Adventurers to California are invited to call and ex
amine these labor-saving machines. iThey are simple in
their construction, easily transp6rted on the hack of
mutes or horses,: weighing eighty poanis each, and can
be put inopetauon in half an hour. They can be filled
with provisions. It is the opinion of those who have
seen the trial of one of these machines of smallest size,
that two men will wash the mineral - from 150 bushels of
sand or earth - Inn day, without the loss of a particle of
the mineral." They can be increased in size and worked
by water or mule power, if expedient. The operators
work-without going into the water or , being exposed to
water or wet. and consequently without endangering
their health. They will require but a small stream of
water, and can be used the whole season, and can be put
into operition where there is sot sufficient water to wash
in the usual way.
