Adventurers to California are invited to call and ex-
amine these labor-saving machines. They are simple in
their construction, easily transported on, the back of
mules or horses, weighing:eighty mamas each, and can
be put inoperation in half au hour. They can be filled
with provisions. It is the,opistion of those who have
seen the trial of one of these machines of smallest size,
that two meat will wash the mineral from 150 bushels of
sand or earth in a day, without the loss of a particle of
the mineral. They ran be increased in size and worked
by water or mule power, if expedient. The pperators
work without going into t he, water or being exposed to
water. or wet. turd consequently without endangering
their health. They will require but a small .stream of
water, and can be used the whole season, and can be pat
into operation where therein aot stuficient water to wash
