The quantity of Flour and Grain in bond in the
various parts -of Great Britain, is said to be much
IMts than has been generally estimated: The, t'ori.
eternal Reefetrfstatet, that the imports from all , pans
into London, in'lB4B, were 610,000 qrs. Wheat; 70,-
000 sacks, and 66,000 barrels Flour;'besides' a very
large supply of Barley and Oats. The steel' remain•
ing at present in bond here,. we estimate et about
150,000 qrs. Wheat, and 30,000 barrels Flour; in all
the ports of Great-Britain, there are probably not
over 500,000 qrs. - Wheat, and 450,000 barrels of
Flour, in bond.

e; pn New 'Year's Day, lUD. Our whole stock, coin.
.?acing one of the most extensive and varied assortments
of FANCY AND STAPLE DRY GOODS ever exhibited
in the 'Western country, will be offered at lower prices
than ever before known. Upwards of fifty thousand dot
laretsf ouretock has been recently purchased, the great
er portion of which are foreign Goods, received at NOSY
York by late European arrivals, which, fromthe lateness
of ,the season, as well as the well known pressure in the
money market, were sold at immense sacrifices at the
public sales, at rates varying from twenty-five to fifty par
, cent. less then similar goods brought the first of the sea
son. We therefore confidently believe thdtourpriees for
the time above mentioned will be found lobe even lower
then any Eastern wholesale rates -
We anxiously invite till persons to visit our establish
ment, whether they purchase or not, and test the truth of
the above--assenng them that they will incur no obliga
tion thereby, but confer a favor' upon the proprietors.—
Our easement of SILKS, SHAWLS and FINE DRESS

our great display of DOMESTIC GOODS will, we hope,
