BREAD STUFFS.--On Tuesday, the I2tli instant,
the market exhibited a fair attendance of the trade.
A moderate business was done in free wheat and
Flour v at an advance on the rates of the previous
Tuesday of 2d per bushel for the former, and bd.per
barrel, for , the latter. Bonded Flour and Wheat
were dearer by 9d per barrel, and 8d per bushel, re.
spectively; Not many samples, hovrever, of either
article were offered for sale. For Western •Canal
Flour, in bond, 2.5 s 3d was offered. There were
fair sales of Indian Corn at an improvement of 2s.
per quarter on the prices of the previous week.

PRUSSIA
The King of Prussia, wearied out with the fac-
tious opposition of his Parliament, has dissolved
that body, and promulgated a new Constitution to
his, subjects. The concessions of March last are
confirmed, with such modifications as the present
state of the Monarchy would 1100171. to require.
There are' to be two Chambers- The Upper
Chamber to consist nf ono hundred and eighty
members, elected) ford six years. The Lower
House into have three hundred and fifty members,
elected for three years.

ment is vested in the King. The franchise ap

AUSTRIA.
The Emperor of Austria hai abdicated the throne
in favor of his nephew, Francis Joitepli, son of the
Arch Duke Charles--a youth of eigliteen, who has
formally taken upon himself the duties of his high
office. It is hoped:that good may resale from this
step, as the new Monarch will not be boand, its was
