Silver is also found in considera ble quantities. All the necessary rrmterials for the construction of fur !mem and fuel for smelting. are found in abundance in the immediate neighborhood of the mineral ; and ;be face of the country in such, that the mine. require but little. if any artificial dillituage. and arc therefore worked to great advantage, The climate in the winter : though cold., does not inter rupt the operations of the millers: in fact, that season is considered the most favorable tor their operatiniii.
