The weather on Saturday was fine; but rather wet ft r

wharf, on Which there was much commotitcaused by
the arrival of-a fleet of boats, laden with the products of
the south and west. Our mereliants complained of lack
of business. they bad only to fill little orders from city
retailers. The prospects of a change intdme articles,
and the opening of the canal, which late. take place this
week, tends to keep down speculation..-There are but
