That"they have abandoned some time since, the exclusive agency system," and that we .have right to, claim "exclusive priiileges with their teas." I never pretended to sell the teas of this spurious concern. I have been selling the teas of the Ntw York Pekin Tea Company fur the last two years, as the public are aware, and have been to New ork four times in that time, and never heard of this new concern until lately but as wool dealers. The tea business of PiPCallmont & Bond is about eight months old, and their assumption of the Pe kin Tea Company's name is because a name it open fur any man or firm to pasume; but the fact intended to imply thereby, that they have any connection 'with tte so called and well known Pekin Tea Cm of New York, is entirely false, they having been de • nied even an agency in Philadelphia, for the New York Company, that Company having refused even thus far to confide in them. I know not what kind of wool they keep, nor what kind of teas; I am only certain that they keep or obtain none of the Pekin Tea Company's of New York. Any person reading this card will see the gross deception they wish to practice on the public, and to the injury of my business. 111 , Callmont 4- Bend are wool dealers in Philadelphia, and have sent an agent out here to pull wool over? the eyes of some of our good citizens.
